Is Cholesterol Bad?
As previously explained – you need cholesterol. However, there are three types, and some are better then others:
High-Density Lipoproteins – these are “Good” cholesterols. They are good because they move cholesterol from parts of the body to the liver. This removes it from the body, stopping a build up in the arteries.
Low Density Lipoproteins – these are the “Bad” cholesterol. They carry cholesterol in the blood and lead to a build up and blockages.
Very Low Density Lipoprotein. – Also “Bad”. Transporting triglycerides in the blood leading to heart disease.
